The Memorial Appeal
If you have any queries, please email enquiry@rugbyremembers.co.uk
The task of piecing together the full Roll of Honour is still work in progress. We also hope that new information may come forth in response to this appeal. When we commission the new memorial, the brief to the designers will be to allow room for more names to be added when they are discovered and verified over the years.
We do not yet know what form the memorial will take and how much it will cost. If we raise funds in excess of the final cost, the surplus will be donated to the Rosslyn Park Injury Trust Fund.
The Rosslyn Park Injury Trust Fund was started in 1980 after Shaun Parry-Jones of Llandovery College sustained a quadriplegia during the Schools Sevens Tournament. It became Registered Charity No 284089 in December 1980.The Fund aims to provide finance for the assistance and equipment vital to those who have sustained severe injuries in rugby and sport generally.
The Fund welcomes applications for financial assistance from people injured in playing sport, and applications should be made to the Trustees, care of Diane McIntier - Secretary at the Rosslyn Park Injury Trust, bridihalfwayst@aol.com
